Privacy Policy

Effective: August 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Elite Coastal Rides LLC (“ECR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our website (elitecoastalrides.com), our online quote tool, and our chauffeur transportation services. By using our website or booking a ride with us, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Booking and contact information: your name, phone number, email address, pickup and drop-off locations, flight details (for airport transfers), and any special requests you provide when you request a quote or book a reservation.
  • Payment information: when you pay for a reservation, your card is processed by our payment processor. If you choose to save a card on file for future reservations, that payment information is stored with our payment processor; we do not separately store your full card number ourselves. You can ask us to remove a saved card at any time after your ride is complete.
  • Website usage information: when you visit elitecoastalrides.com, we use Google Analytics to automatically collect standard usage data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring pages, so we can understand how our website is used.
  • Quote tool information: trip details you enter into our online airport-quote tool (pickup/drop-off, date, vehicle needs) in order to generate a price estimate.
  • In-vehicle recording: audio and video recorded by dash cameras during rides, as described in Section 3 below.
  • Communications: records of calls, texts, and emails you exchange with us regarding a reservation or inquiry.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, confirm, and manage your reservation, including adjusting pickup timing for flight delays
  • Process payments and collect amounts owed under our Payment Terms & Conditions
  • Communicate with you about a reservation (confirmations, driver arrival, wait time, changes)
  • Respond to questions, quote requests, and customer service inquiries
  • Maintain the safety and security of our passengers, drivers, and vehicle, and to resolve disputes
  • Understand how our website and quote tool are used, so we can maintain and improve them
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

If we run online advertising in the future (for example, Google Ads), we may use conversion-tracking technology to understand whether an ad led to a call or booking. We do not currently run any paid advertising campaigns; we will update this Privacy Policy before any such tracking goes live.

3. In-Vehicle Recording (Dash Cameras)

For the safety of our passengers and drivers, and for service-quality purposes, all rides are continuously recorded via visibly mounted in-vehicle dash cameras (both video and audio). By booking, entering the vehicle, and using our services, you consent to this recording, consistent with our Payment Terms & Conditions. Recordings are stored securely, retained only for as long as reasonably needed for safety, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes, and are not used for any other purpose, such as marketing.

4. Cookies, Website Analytics & Online Advertising

We use Google Analytics on our website to understand how visitors use our site: how many people visit, which pages they view, and how they found us. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar tracking technology to do this. We do not currently use this data to build individual advertising profiles of visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by adjusting your browser’s cookie settings. If we launch online advertising in the future (for example, Google Ads) with its own conversion tracking, we will update this section to describe it specifically and the opt-out options available.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate our business:

  • With our subcontractor driver(s), to the extent necessary to complete your reservation (pickup/drop-off details, contact information, flight information)
  • With our payment processor, to process payments and, if you have chosen to save a card on file, to store that payment method
  • With service providers who help us operate our website, quote tool, and website analytics (including Google Analytics)
  • With our insurance carrier, in connection with a claim
  • When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the safety of our passengers, drivers, or the public

6. Data Retention

We retain booking, payment, and communication records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, satisfy tax and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. If you have saved a card on file with us, you may ask us to remove it at any time after your ride is complete, and we will do so. Dash cam recordings are retained on a shorter cycle, consistent with Section 3 above, unless a longer period is needed for a specific safety, legal, or insurance matter.

7. Your Choices

You can ask us, at any time, what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain for a legal, safety, or business reason, by contacting us using the information in Section 12. If you no longer wish to receive non-essential communications from us (for example, a promotional text or email), you can tell us by replying “stop,” by email, or by phone, and we will honor that request. Depending on where you live, you may also have specific rights under state privacy law; we will honor any such request to the extent it applies to us and is required by law.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our website and quote tool are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from anyone under 18. Our vehicle may of course transport minors as passengers when accompanied by an adult who books and is responsible for the reservation, consistent with our Payment Terms & Conditions (see Child Safety Seats).

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the personal information we hold, including relying on established, reputable third-party providers for payment processing and website hosting. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party sites or services we do not control (for example, Google Maps or our Google Business Profile). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party sites, and we encourage you to review their own privacy practices.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal or operational reasons. The version posted at elitecoastalrides.com/privacy-policy is the version currently in effect.

12. Contact Us
