Elite Coastal Rides Transportation Services Terms

Effective: August 25, 2026

By booking or using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. Payment and Billing

Full payment is due at the time of booking unless prior written approval for corporate net-10 terms has been granted by Elite Coastal Rides.

Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards, cash by prior arrangement, and any other payment method expressly approved by Elite Coastal Rides.

A valid credit or debit card must be provided at the time of booking and may be securely stored by our authorized payment processor. If the Client elects to pay in cash, the card on file serves as a guarantee of payment.

By providing card information and booking service, the Client authorizes Elite Coastal Rides to charge the card on file for all amounts due under these payment terms, including amounts determined after completion of service, including but not limited to:

  • Additional wait time beyond the applicable complimentary grace period
  • No-show charges
  • Cancellation charges within the applicable cancellation policy
  • Additional mileage, extra stops, parking, or other agreed-upon services
  • Vehicle cleaning or damage charges, as described below
  • Any unpaid balance not satisfied at the conclusion of service

Elite Coastal Rides reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to seek a credit or debit card authorization hold in excess of the estimated charges for a reservation. During this time, the held funds may not be available for the Client’s use. If a different payment method is used to satisfy the final balance, the original authorization hold will be released; the Client’s card-issuing bank may take additional time to post the released funds back to the account.

If full payment is not received when due, Elite Coastal Rides may charge the outstanding balance to the card on file without further signature or separate authorization, to the extent permitted by law.

Where feasible, Elite Coastal Rides will attempt to notify the Client by text message, phone call, or email before processing additional post-booking or post-service charges, but such notice is a courtesy and not a condition of charging amounts otherwise authorized under these terms.

Vehicle Cleaning Fee: Any reservation requiring excessive cleaning of the vehicle will incur a flat fee of $250, as the vehicle must be removed from service for cleaning.

Damage Fee: If the vehicle is damaged during a reservation, the Client is responsible for the full cost to repair the vehicle.

Returned payments, reversed electronic payments, or other failed transactions may incur a $35 processing fee, or the maximum amount allowed by law. Clients may request removal of the card on file after all outstanding balances have been paid in full.

Pricing: Rates and fees are subject to change at any time without prior notice. The rate confirmed for a reservation at the time of booking applies to that reservation and will not change after confirmation, except for charges described elsewhere in these terms (e.g., wait time, additional stops, cleaning, or damage).

2. Refunds and Cancellations

Deposits and pre-payments are fully refundable if canceled more than 24 hours before scheduled pickup, in accordance with our cancellation policy. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable but may receive a credit toward future travel at our sole discretion, except as follows:

  • Airport transfers canceled less than 2 hours before pickup: 100% of fare charged
  • All other rides canceled less than 1 hour before pickup: 100% of fare charged

3. No-Shows, Hourly Service, Wait Time & Airport Pickups

Hourly Service

Hourly service is billed at $100 per hour with a two (2) hour minimum. Each booked hour includes up to 25 miles of travel. Additional mileage beyond the included allowance is billed at $2.00 per mile. Hourly service begins at the scheduled reservation start time and concludes at the end of the reserved service period. Additional hours requested during service are subject to vehicle availability and will be billed accordingly. Hourly reservations are intended to begin and end within a 10 mile radius of the original pickup location. If the reservation ends outside the included service area, the Client is responsible for the driver’s return trip to the original pickup location, covering both the return mileage (billed at $2.00 per mile) and the return time (billed at $100 per hour, in 30 minute increments), unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the reservation.

Airport Reservations

Clients are responsible for providing accurate airline and flight information. We monitor flights in real time and adjust pickup timing for early arrivals or reasonable delays. The complimentary grace period begins at the flight’s actual landing time.

Complimentary Grace Periods:

  • Domestic flights: 30 minutes after actual landing time
  • International flights: 60 minutes after actual landing time
  • Non-airport pickups: 15 minutes after scheduled pickup time

After the applicable grace period, wait time is billed at $100 per hour, in 30 minute increments (minimum $50). Wait time billing begins immediately once the grace period expires. Maximum additional billable wait time is one (1) hour.

If the passenger is not present, reachable, and ready to depart within 90 minutes of actual landing time, the reservation may be declared a no-show, and 100% of the fare will be charged, with the driver potentially departing to accommodate subsequent bookings. We will attempt to contact the passenger at least twice using the provided contact information before declaring a no-show.

Extended Flight Delays (Pre-Arrival)

If a flight is delayed more than 90 minutes from its originally scheduled arrival time, the reservation becomes subject to availability at the revised arrival time. Elite Coastal Rides reserves the right to adjust pickup timing, reschedule, or decline service if prior commitments prevent accommodation. Applicable cancellation terms may apply, including full fare if the delay falls within the cancellation policy or if the driver has been dispatched.

4. Luggage & Seating Capacity

Cargo capacity (seats up, maximum 6 passengers, plus one personal item per passenger) depends on the size and mix of luggage: up to 8 carry-on-size bags (approx. 22x14x9 inches or smaller), up to 6 standard check-in-size bags (approx. up to 27 inches), or up to 4 extra-large check-in-size bags (approx. up to 32 inches, including oversized items such as golf bags). Mixed loads of different bag sizes are accommodated based on available cargo space at the driver’s discretion. Excess or oversized luggage beyond these allowances (surfboards, coolers, boxes, additional bags, etc.) may require alternate arrangements.

We may fold third-row seating as needed to accommodate luggage beyond the allowances above, at no extra charge; however, this reduces seating capacity to 5 passengers (or fewer if additional space is required for safe, secure loading). If a group requires 6 passengers and has luggage exceeding safe capacity even with the third row folded, the reservation cannot be accommodated in the assigned vehicle. Clients are responsible for arranging alternative transportation for excess luggage or additional passengers.

The driver has final authority to refuse unsafe, overloaded, or improperly secured loads. Florida law and vehicle safety standards prohibit luggage that blocks exits, obstructs the driver’s view, or interferes with safety features.

5. Lost Items

Elite Coastal Rides is not responsible for personal belongings left in the vehicle. Clients are responsible for ensuring all personal items are removed at the conclusion of their trip.

If a lost item is recovered, Elite Coastal Rides will make reasonable efforts to contact the Client and arrange its return.

A Lost Item Return Fee of $75 applies for the return of recovered items and additional charges may apply if delivery requires significant travel beyond our normal service area or if expedited delivery is requested.

Lost items may also be picked up by appointment at no charge, subject to availability.

6. Child Safety Seats

Elite Coastal Rides does not provide child seats. Clients must supply and properly install federally approved child restraint systems. Florida law requires appropriate restraints for children under 8 years old or under 4′9″.

7. Recording for Safety and Quality

For the safety of passengers and drivers, as well as service quality assurance, all rides are continuously recorded via both video and audio using in-vehicle dash cameras. Cameras are visibly mounted.

By booking, entering the vehicle, and using our services, you consent to this recording. Recordings are stored securely and retained for a limited period consistent with operational and legal needs. Recordings are used only for safety, dispute resolution, or legal purposes.

8. Disputes

All disputes must be emailed to payments@elitecoastalrides.com within 10 calendar days of the invoice date. Failure to dispute within this period constitutes acceptance of charges to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Service Limitations

We are not responsible for delays, missed connections, or interruptions caused by weather, traffic, mechanical issues, or other factors beyond our control. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone posing a safety or conduct risk.

10. Liability

Elite Coastal Rides shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Maximum liability for loss or damage to baggage or personal property is limited to $500 per passenger, unless otherwise required by law.

Except for claims involving personal injury or death, Elite Coastal Rides’ total liability to the Client for any claim arising out of or related to these terms or the services provided shall not exceed the greater of the total amount paid by the Client for the reservation giving rise to the claim, or $1,000.

11. Collections

Overdue balances accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% APR). The Client agrees to pay all reasonable collection costs, attorney’s fees, and court costs. In any action to collect unpaid balances, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs.

12. Gratuity

Gratuity is not included but is always appreciated for exceptional service.

13. Alcohol Policy

For safety, legal compliance, and insurance purposes, the possession or consumption of open alcoholic beverages is prohibited in all Elite Coastal Rides vehicles.

Elite Coastal Rides reserves the right to immediately terminate transportation services without refund if passengers violate this policy or engage in unlawful, unsafe, or disruptive behavior.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal action must be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in St. Lucie County, Florida.

15. Indemnification

The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Elite Coastal Rides, its owners, employees, and subcontracted drivers from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to: (a) the Client’s or any passenger’s violation of these terms; (b) any illegal, unsafe, or negligent act by the Client or any passenger during a reservation; (c) damage to the vehicle or third-party property caused by the Client or any passenger; or (d) any injury to the Client, a passenger, or a third party caused by the Client’s or a passenger’s own conduct. This indemnification does not apply to claims arising from Elite Coastal Rides’ own negligence or willful misconduct.

16. Force Majeure

Elite Coastal Rides shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms where such failure or delay results from causes beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to hurricanes, tropical storms, other natural disasters, mandatory evacuation orders, government action, road closures, epidemic or pandemic, or other regional emergencies. Where feasible, Elite Coastal Rides will make reasonable efforts to notify affected Clients and reschedule service once conditions allow.

17. Modifications to These Terms

Elite Coastal Rides may update or modify these terms at any time. The version of these terms in effect at the time a reservation is booked governs that reservation. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the then-current terms.

18. Entire Agreement; Severability

These terms, together with any documents referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between the Client and Elite Coastal Rides regarding the subject matter herein and supersede all prior agreements or understandings. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision shall be severed, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
